Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalency
- Five years of related experience
- Knowledge of senior living care practices preferred
- Ability to work full time
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to supervise and coordinate staff
Job Qualifications
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) welcomed but not required
- Bachelor’s degree with major course work in human services and one year of full-time work experience in a related field or Associates degree with major course work in human services and three years of full-time work experience in a related field or high school diploma or equivalency plus five years related experience
- Experience and knowledge in all aspects of senior living preferred
Job Duties
- Oversee medication management program including chart and medication audits to ensure quality assurance and regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with physicians to maintain accurate and up-to-date medication orders
- Support training and orientation for all care staff to ensure proper procedures and best practices in the care department
- Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures in all aspects of care with a focus on documentation
- Supervise develop and schedule all resident care department staff providing day-to-day care of the residents according to PSL policies procedures and standards
- Serve as a team member in recruiting screening and interviewing of all resident care department staff while filling in for staff during unexpected shortages
- Administer medications as allowed per state-specific and PSL guidelines when required
