Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a caregiving role
  • Current CNA or Home Health Aide certification preferred
  • Ability to perform physical tasks related to resident care
  • Strong observational skills
  • Effective communication abilities
  • Ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion

  • Ability to observe and report changes in resident’s condition
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassionate and patient demeanor
  • Basic knowledge of personal care techniques
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Job Duties

  • Assist resident with all ADLs and personal care skills including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting
  • Make appropriate observations about the resident’s condition in every interaction
  • Record and follow up with changes in resident’s condition in a timely manner
  • Assist residents with laundry and housekeeping services as needed
  • Provide compassionate and respectful care to support residents’ dignity and comfort
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in residents’ living areas
