Job Requirements
- 6 months to 1 year of prior resident care experience preferably with seniors
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents and colleagues
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to speak, read and write English
- Must be willing to undergo a routine background check

- Ability to follow company policies and procedures
- Understanding of basic caregiving tasks and resident needs
- Willingness to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
Job Duties
- Maintains residents' records daily in a timely manner and in accordance with company policy and procedures
- Assists residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring and attending activities and meals according to individual service plans
- Encourages residents to do as much of their own care as possible
- Observes and reports changes in residents’ physical and emotional conditions promptly to supervisors
- Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly environment including housekeeping tasks like laundry, bedroom, dining area, living space, bathroom, and kitchen cleaning
- Communicates effectively with residents and colleagues to ensure quality care
- Participates in training programs and adheres to all safety and health regulations
