Job Requirements

  • no prior related work experience required

Job Duties

  • Greet and escort guests to their rooms
  • open doors and assist guests and visitors entering and exiting the property
  • inform guests about amenities, services, operational hours, and local attractions
  • identify and explain room features such as keys, minibar, safes, and laundry services
  • carry luggage to and from guest rooms or designated areas
  • assist with luggage storage and retrieval
  • help guests with vehicle entry and exit including luggage loading and unloading
  • provide directions and arrange transportation such as taxis and shuttles
  • communicate parking procedures to guests
  • comply with all company safety policies and procedures
  • report maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries
  • complete safety training and certifications
  • maintain a neat and professional uniform and appearance
  • protect company property and maintain privacy of company information
  • support coworkers with dignity and respect
  • work collaboratively to achieve team goals
  • adhere to quality assurance standards
  • move, lift, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than 50 pounds without assistance
  • assist with heavier objects over 75 pounds
  • stand, sit, or walk for extended periods during a shift
  • respond promptly to work situations
  • read and visually verify various types of information
  • perform reaching, bending, twisting, carrying, pulling, and stooping
  • navigate inclined, uneven, slippery surfaces, staircases, and ramps
  • welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards
  • communicate clearly and professionally
  • remain alert to any potentially objectionable persons on the premises
  • carry out other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors
