Job Duties
- Greet and accompany guests to their rooms
- Open doors and assist guests and visitors entering and exiting the property
- Inform guests about amenities, services, operating hours, local points of interest, and activities
- Identify and explain room functionalities such as room keys, mini bars, ice and vending machine locations, room safes, and laundry services
- Carry guest luggage to and from rooms or designated bell areas
- Assist in storing and retrieving luggage
- Help guests and visitors enter and exit vehicles including loading and unloading luggage
- Provide guests with directions to their destinations
- Arrange transportation services such as taxis and shuttles and record transportation requests as needed
- Communicate parking procedures to guests and visitors
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures
- Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries
- Complete safety training and certifications
- Maintain a neat and professional uniform and personal appearance
- Protect company property and maintain confidentiality of information
- Support coworkers and treat them with dignity and respect
- Assist the team in achieving common goals
- Meet quality assurance standards
- Move, lift, transport, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than 50 pounds unassisted
- Help move, lift, transport, and place objects weighing more than 75 pounds
- Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- Move at speeds necessary to respond to work situations
- Read and visually verify information in various formats
- Reach above head and below knees, bend, twist at the waist, drag, and stoop
- Move across inclined, uneven, or slippery surfaces and stairs
- Ascend and descend stairs and service ramps
- Welcome and acknowledge all guests per company standards
- Communicate clearly and professionally with others including phone etiquette
- Stay alert to the possible presence of objectionable persons on the property
- Perform other reasonable work tasks as requested by supervisors
