Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous hotel management experience in housekeeping and/or front office
- ability to read and interpret budgets and financial statements
- knowledge of Word, Outlook, and Excel
- experience with hotel PMS and time & attendance systems
- willingness to work varied schedules including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- physical ability to stand or walk for extended periods
- ability to bend, stoop, push or pull up to 100 lbs
- ability to lift up to 75 lbs
- excellent written and verbal communication skills

Job Duties
- Interviews, hires, trains, and provides leadership to all associates
- conducts performance appraisals and provides feedback to associates
- ensures all hotel staff know all components/features of brand service standards and are trained to meet service standards
- develops added value customer service programs
- empowers hotel staff to deliver guest service by encouraging and rewarding responsive guest assistance
- analyzes financial and operational information on an ongoing basis to adjust business plans, labor requirements, and operating costs
- meets or exceeds budgeted profit and margin for hotel
- ensures hotel staff is trained in financial control procedures for cash, vouchers, inventories, and receivables, and that these procedures are regularly followed
- produces accurate and timely financial reports
- maintains guest service as the driving philosophy of the hotel
- personally demonstrates a commitment to guest service by responding to guest needs
- assists team leaders in meeting and exceeding brand service and quality goals
- ensures hotel standards contribute to consistent guest service
- ensures compliance with all brand standards
- performs other duties as assigned to meet business objectives
