Job Requirements
- At least five years of progressive hotel experience
- Supervisory background
- Ability to stay calm and objective under pressure
- Must hold or obtain certifications including Food Handlers, Alcohol Awareness, CPR, and First Aid
- Effective communication skills
- Strong leadership abilities
- Proficiency with Windows Operating Systems
Job Qualifications
- At least five years of progressive hotel experience in rooms or food and beverage
- Four-year degree with 2-3 years of related experience or two-year degree with 3-4 years of related experience
- Proven supervisory or management background
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Experience with financial management and operational reporting
- Proficiency in Windows Operating Systems
- Certification or willingness to obtain Food Handlers, Alcohol Awareness, CPR, and First Aid
Job Duties
- Supervise multiple departments and drive hotel profitability by managing teams and partnering with the General Manager
- Proactively identify and resolve operational challenges to ensure smooth daily hotel functions
- Recruit, hire, and train Guest Services staff while providing ongoing development programs for all team members
- Maintain clear and effective communication with colleagues and guests to address concerns and improve service
- Manage financial data and operational reports to support hotel profitability and performance
- Utilize Windows Operating Systems for management tasks and reporting
- Enforce professional appearance and grooming standards among staff
- Deliver exceptional hospitality service to all guests and teammates
