Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least one year of general office experience preferred
- Keyboarding skills required
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, and Outlook required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills required
- Ability to operate standard office machines preferred
- Ability to perform routine filing and record-keeping tasks preferred
- Ability to work a 10-month or 12-month schedule as preferred
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
- Successful completion of a criminal background check

Job Duties
- Establish a welcoming atmosphere by greeting students, visitors, and university employees
- Answer telephone calls, take messages, and route calls according to office procedures
- Schedule and maintain appointment calendars for hall directors or departmental employees
- Perform basic clerical tasks including keyboarding and computer data entry
- Distribute incoming mail and maintain accurate mailbox designations
- File documents and operate standard office equipment
- Maintain accurate building records and perform routine filing and record-keeping tasks
