Job Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred
valid state-issued driver’s license required
must be 18 years or older
completion of Safelite SafeTech certification required
ability to lift up to 25 lbs and assist with heavier lifting
ability to stand and work in confined spaces for extended periods
ability to safely operate hand and power tools
ability to drive company vehicles following all applicable laws
willingness to work flexible hours
ability to maintain professional appearance and adhere to company policies
ability to work outside in various weather conditions
ability to handle chemicals safely
must agree to monitoring via cameras and GPS while driving
strong communication skills
problem-solving skills

Job Qualifications

High school diploma, GED or equivalent preferred
valid state-issued driver’s license and any other required licenses to operate a company vehicle
completion of Safelite SafeTech certification on the job training
must be 18 years of age or older
ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs, assist with heavier loads
ability to stand for extended periods and work in tight spaces
ability to use hand and power tools safely
ability to operate a motor vehicle in accordance with laws and undergo monitoring
excellent customer service skills
ability to work in various weather conditions
ability to handle chemicals safely
problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
good oral and written communication skills
professional appearance and adherence to uniform and safety policies
ability to maintain performance under pressure

Job Duties

Learn to repair vehicle glass in classroom and hands-on training
repair chips, cracks and other auto glass issues on vehicles
manage work orders and customer communication using mobile resource management technology
promote and sell Safelite promotional items
clean customer vehicles and maintain shop and company vehicle cleanliness
operate company and customer vehicles and tools safely
comply with all company policies and perform additional duties as assigned
