Job Requirements
- minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
- at least two years driving experience with box truck
- valid driver’s license
- clean driving record without significant moving violations
- ability to adhere to all traffic and safety laws
- excellent attendance and punctuality
- availability to work overtime, holidays, and weekends
- strong communication and customer service skills
- physical ability to lift objects over 100 lbs
- capability to work in varying indoor and outdoor environments
- flexibility to adapt to schedule changes
- ability to perform pre and post trip vehicle inspections
- willing to undergo background checks and random drug testing
- must be a team-oriented professional
Job Qualifications
- minimum of two years driving experience with 20’-26’ box truck
- clean driving record with adherence to all state driving laws
- excellent attendance and punctuality
- ability and willingness to work overtime, holidays, and weekends
- excellent customer service skills and positive attitude
- good communication skills
- highly motivated with the ability to work independently
- ability to multi-task and problem solve on the spot
- team player
- knowledge of rental products and equipment safety standards
- bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
- detail-oriented, dependable, strong work ethic
Job Duties
- delivering and picking up catering rentals and equipment to and from clients' event sites in a timely and safe manner
- coordinating workload to meet client’s requirements while achieving optimum productivity
- communicating effectively with the Director of Warehouse Operations, warehouse supervisor, dispatcher, sales team, and warehouse staff to ensure sales and client objectives are met
- following systems and procedures outlined in the Swift + Company manual
- coordinating with dispatch and Warehouse Supervisor to schedule daily deliveries and pick-ups
- ensuring delivery and pick up is always on time
- driving vehicle to and from destinations adhering to all traffic laws
- loading and unloading delivery rentals
- complying with all OSHA safety requirements
- maintaining vehicle in good working condition, clean and fueled including pre and post trip inspection
