Job Description

Currently, EquipmentShare is seeking a Rental Coordinator to join their team at the rental facility located in Lafayette, Louisiana. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be a vital link between the company and its customers, helping to deliver the best rental experience possible. The position is full-time, with a schedule from Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and includes overtime pay for hours worked beyond 40 per week. Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • experience in customer service or sales preferred
  • ability to communicate effectively
  • strong problem-solving skills
  • capacity to work in a fast-paced environment
  • willingness to learn new technology platforms
  • availability to work Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • able to work overtime when needed
  • pass a background check
  • pass a drug test if applicable

Job Duties

  • respond to inbound leads and guide customers through the rental process
  • expand the customer base by building relationships with contractors and construction company principals
  • educate customers about ways to save money, increase profits, and operate more efficiently
  • maintain and nurture existing customer relationships for satisfaction and retention
  • promptly respond to and resolve customer inquiries, requests, and complaints
  • develop new sales strategies and techniques to increase market share and improve customer experience
