Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • experience in customer service or event coordination preferred
  • ability to work 20-25 hours per week including evenings and weekends
  • proficiency in communication and organizational skills
  • ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • current or willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid/AED certification
  • flexible schedule to accommodate facility events
  • valid identification for employment

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • experience in facility rental or event coordination preferred
  • strong customer service skills
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • proficiency with scheduling software and office tools
  • current American Red Cross CPR/First Aid/AED certification or willingness to obtain
  • ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • strong organizational and interpersonal skills

Job Duties

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for rental and reservation inquiries including phone calls emails and walk-in requests
  • conduct facility tours for prospective renters assisting patrons in selecting appropriate spaces
  • coordinate and schedule facility spaces to ensure optimal usage and minimize conflicts
  • prepare issue and track rental agreements explain terms conditions and policies
  • ensure compliance with contractual terms including follow-up communication
  • communicate event details room setups and logistics with Recreation and Parks staff
  • provide catering information and act as liaison between patron and catering company
  • onboard and establish relationships with new vendors
  • organize and administer group events including birthday party packages symposiums and weddings
  • process rental deposits and payments and maintain accurate records
  • collaborate with Community Relations to market rental spaces effectively
  • provide high-quality customer service representing the City professionally
  • perform other related duties as assigned
