Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in parks & recreation, event management, business, marketing, or related field
- Two years of related experience preferred
- Certified Park & Recreation Professional (CPRP) or willingness to obtain within one year
- Strong organizational skills
- Leadership skills
- Customer service skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Ability to stand, walk, drive, lift up to 50 pounds, and work outdoors in all weather conditions
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in parks & recreation, event management, business, marketing, or related field
- Two years of related experience preferred, e.g. community recreation
- Certified Park & Recreation Professional (CPRP) or willingness to obtain within 1 year of hire or job transfer
- Strong organizational, leadership, and customer service skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
Job Duties
- Coordinate and manage all facility rentals from inquiry to event completion
- Oversee and ensure accuracy of event logistics, scheduling, and financial tracking
- Develop marketing strategies to promote rentals, programs, and community events
- Provide supervisory leadership for Splash Pad seasonal staff
- Support sponsorship development
- Serve as a brand ambassador for the Parks & Recreation Department
