Job Description

The Township of Pine is a vibrant community organization dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for its residents through diverse Parks & Recreation programs and facilities. Serving as a hub for community engagement, the Township provides various outdoor and indoor recreational amenities including the Pine Community Center, Splash Pad, Turf Fields, Park Pavilions, and Amphitheater. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in parks & recreation, event management, business, marketing, or related field
  • Two years of related experience preferred
  • Certified Park & Recreation Professional (CPRP) or willingness to obtain within one year
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Leadership skills
  • Customer service skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • Ability to stand, walk, drive, lift up to 50 pounds, and work outdoors in all weather conditions

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in parks & recreation, event management, business, marketing, or related field
  • Two years of related experience preferred, e.g. community recreation
  • Certified Park & Recreation Professional (CPRP) or willingness to obtain within 1 year of hire or job transfer
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and customer service skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Job Duties

  • Coordinate and manage all facility rentals from inquiry to event completion
  • Oversee and ensure accuracy of event logistics, scheduling, and financial tracking
  • Develop marketing strategies to promote rentals, programs, and community events
  • Provide supervisory leadership for Splash Pad seasonal staff
  • Support sponsorship development
  • Serve as a brand ambassador for the Parks & Recreation Department
