Job Requirements
- Completed secondary education
- Previous experience as a Field Technician
- Willingness to work day and night shifts on a 14/14 rotation schedule
- Ability to participate in safety meetings and emergency response
- Strong communication skills
- Knowledge of safety, health, and environmental standards
- Experience in pipeline operations
- Ability to conduct maintenance and operational monitoring
- Capability to provide detailed shift reports
- Commitment to comply with operational protocols and safety guidelines
Job Qualifications
- Completed secondary education
- Previous experience as a Field Technician
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- High standard of safety, health, and environmental aptitude
- Knowledge and experience in pipeline operations
- Familiarity with safety and operations management tools
- Knowledge of emergency preparedness procedures
- Understanding of project philosophy and design specifications
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and commercial agreements
- Experience in production, midstream, tank battery, compressor station, or onshore fields
- Experience with process operations in non-refinery settings
- Experience with upstream production from the wellhead
- Familiarity with sites in West Texas, New Mexico, Bakken, ND Site, Oklahoma
Job Duties
- Implement daily work objectives, housekeeping, safety, health, environmental, and security
- Participate actively in daily toolbox meetings and safety meetings
- Identify and implement corrective and optimization actions through surveillance of wells and equipment
- Perform routine maintenance as Equipment Care Technician
- Report alarms, emergency shutdown system status, and provide detailed shift change information
- Coordinate, control, and monitor maintenance according to planning
- Log all relevant operational events and deviations
- Take product samples for laboratory analysis and conduct field tests
- Participate actively in emergency response activities
- Report incidents internally and escalate awareness per guidelines
- Inform and consult with Operations Shift Supervisor about activities
- Ensure good team communication for issue resolution
- Provide basic facts on well production problems and current conditions
- Ensure thorough diagnostics before requesting Well Work operations
- Maintain wellhead and surface equipment prior to intervention
- Assist ongoing Well Work operations as needed
