Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in simulation or training environments preferred
- knowledge of aviation terminology
- ability to follow detailed instructions
- good communication skills
- ability to operate computer systems and simulation equipment
Job Qualifications
- Experience with simulation operation and maintenance
- knowledge of Air Traffic Control terminology and procedures
- strong communication skills
- ability to operate CRT and VCS systems
- attention to detail
Job Duties
- Receives voice commands from students
- inputs proper entries into the automated system to simulate pilot actions
- translates displayed information into appropriate Air Traffic Control (ATC) terminology
- responds to students via the Voice Communication System (VCS) utilizing proper phraseology
