  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • basic computer proficiency
  • ability to read and interpret diagrams and manuals
  • clear verbal communication skills
  • US citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance

  • basic computer proficiency
  • ability to read and interpret diagrams and manuals
  • clear verbal communication skills
  • US citizenship with ability to obtain Public Trust clearance
  • experience working in multidisciplinary teams
  • certification in ATC Tower, TRACON, or En Route simulation labs preferred
  • effective oral and written communication
  • knowledge of FAAO JO 7110.65 preferred
  • teamwork skills
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • familiarity with current technology tools
  • basic knowledge of pilot-controller communications

Job Duties

  • Operate simulated radar displays and voice communication systems
  • simulate pilot and remote ATC facility actions during training exercises
  • receive and respond to voice commands from students
  • input accurate pilot action data into automated systems
  • translate displayed information into proper ATC terminology
  • communicate with students using proper phraseology
  • complete required classroom and lab certification tests
