- basic computer proficiency
- ability to read and interpret diagrams and manuals
- clear verbal communication skills
- US citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance

- experience working in multidisciplinary teams
- certification in ATC Tower, TRACON, or En Route simulation labs preferred
- effective oral and written communication
- knowledge of FAAO JO 7110.65 preferred
- teamwork skills
- proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- familiarity with current technology tools
- basic knowledge of pilot-controller communications
Job Duties
- Operate simulated radar displays and voice communication systems
- simulate pilot and remote ATC facility actions during training exercises
- receive and respond to voice commands from students
- input accurate pilot action data into automated systems
- translate displayed information into proper ATC terminology
- communicate with students using proper phraseology
- complete required classroom and lab certification tests
