Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Basic computer proficiency
Ability to read and interpret materials such as diagrams and manuals
Ability to speak clearly and be understood
U.S. citizenship
Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance
Willingness to complete required certifications
Availability to work full-time during day shift
Must work on-site in Philadelphia, PA

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Basic computer proficiency
Ability to read and interpret diagrams and manuals
Clear oral communication skills
Experience working in multidisciplinary teams
Effective oral and written communication skills
Knowledge of FAA Order JO 7110.65 is desired
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Familiarity with technology tools such as tablets and notebooks
Understanding of pilot-controller communications or phraseology is desired

Job Duties

Operate simulated radar display and voice communication system to simulate pilot and controller interactions
Respond to student controllers’ voice commands using correct air traffic control phraseology
Input accurate commands into automated systems to simulate pilot actions during training exercises
Translate radar and system information into appropriate air traffic control terminology
Participate in classroom and lab certification programs to demonstrate proficiency
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including instructors, multimedia developers, and subject matter experts
Maintain clear and effective communication with students and team members during simulation exercises
