Job Requirements

- Basic computer proficiency
- Ability to read and interpret materials such as diagrams and manuals
- Ability to speak clearly and be understood
- U.S. citizenship
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance

- Familiarity with FAA Order JO 7110.65 preferred
- Basic knowledge of pilot/controller communication phraseology
Job Duties
- Operate simulated radar and voice communication systems to emulate pilot and remote ATC actions during training exercises
- Receive and interpret voice commands from air traffic control students
- Input accurate pilot responses into the automated training system
- Translate displayed information into proper air traffic control terminology
- Respond to air traffic controller students using correct voice communication system phraseology
- Complete required classroom and laboratory certifications on airspace procedures and remote pilot operator functions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including multimedia developers and instructors to support training effectiveness
