Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer proficiency
- Ability to read and interpret diagrams and manuals
- Clear spoken communication
- U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain Public Trust clearance
- Ability to complete classroom and lab certification
- Ability to work full-time at the Denver, CO FAA Regional Training Site
- No travel or remote work potential
- No minimum security clearance required initially
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer proficiency
- Ability to read and interpret diagrams and manuals
- Clear and understandable verbal communication skills
- U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
- Experience working in multidisciplinary teams
- Certification or experience in ATC tower, TRACON, or en route simulation labs is desired
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Knowledge of FAAO JO 7110.65 order is preferred
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Basic familiarity with technological tools such as tablets and notebooks
- Familiarity or experience with pilot-controller communications or phraseology
Job Duties
- Operate simulated radar and voice communication systems to replicate pilot and controller actions during training exercises
- Receive and interpret voice commands from trainee air traffic controllers
- Input accurate simulated pilot responses into automated systems
- Translate displayed flight information into proper air traffic control terminology and phraseology
- Respond promptly and clearly to trainees via the voice communication system
- Complete required classroom and lab certifications on airspace, procedures, and remote pilot operations
- Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams to support training program development and delivery
