Job Requirements

- Basic computer proficiency
- Ability to read and interpret diagrams and manuals
- Clear verbal communication skills
- U.S. citizenship
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance

- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Familiarity with FAA orders and air traffic control phraseology
- Experience working in multidisciplinary teams
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Basic familiarity with technological tools such as tablets and notebooks
Job Duties
- Operate simulated radar displays and voice communication systems to simulate pilot actions
- Receive and respond to voice commands from air traffic controller students
- Input accurate data into automated systems to mimic pilot behavior
- Translate displayed information into appropriate air traffic control terminology
- Communicate using proper FAA phraseology via voice communication systems
- Complete required classroom and lab certifications for operating simulation positions
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality training exercises
