- basic computer proficiency
- ability to read and interpret diagrams and manuals
- ability to speak clearly and be understood
- US citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain public trust clearance

- clear and effective verbal communication skills
- experience working in a multidisciplinary team
- effective oral and written communication skills
- proficiency in MS Office Suite
- basic knowledge of pilot/controller communications and phraseology
Job Duties
- operate simulated radar display and voice communication system to simulate pilot and controller actions
- respond to voice commands from students and input appropriate entries
- translate displayed information into proper air traffic control terminology
- utilize proper phraseology for communication via voice communication system
- complete required classroom and lab certifications
- collaborate with multidisciplinary training teams
- maintain accurate and timely communication during training exercises
