- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer proficiency
- Ability to read and interpret diagrams and manuals

- Experience working in multidisciplinary teams
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Familiarity with FAAO JO 7110.65 is preferred but not required
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite
- Basic familiarity with technological tools such as tablets and applications
- Familiarity or experience with pilot/controller communications or phraseology
Job Duties
- Operate simulated radar displays and voice communication systems to emulate pilot and remote controller actions
- Receive and respond to voice commands from air traffic controller students using proper phraseology
- Input accurate data into automated systems to simulate pilot behavior during training exercises
- Translate displayed information into appropriate air traffic control terminology
- Complete classroom certification testing on airspace and procedures
- Perform lab certification demonstrating remote pilot operator competencies on all training positions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including instructional designers and subject matter experts
