Job Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer proficiency
- Ability to read and interpret diagrams and manuals
- Ability to speak clearly and be understood
- U.S. citizenship
- Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance
- Availability for full-time daytime work
- Willingness to complete required classroom and lab certifications
Job Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer proficiency
- Ability to read and interpret diagrams and manuals
- Clear and effective verbal communication skills
- U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain Public Trust clearance
- Experience working in multidisciplinary teams is preferred
- Familiarity with FAA Order JO 7110.65 is desirable
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite is preferred
- Basic understanding of pilot/controller communication or phraseology is desirable
- Experience or certification in ATC simulation labs is a plus
Job Duties
- Operate simulated radar displays and voice communication systems to replicate pilot and remote air traffic control communications
- Input accurate pilot responses into automated systems during training exercises
- Translate displayed radar information into appropriate air traffic control phraseology and terminology
- Respond to air traffic controller trainees using proper voice communication standards
- Participate in classroom and lab certification processes for airspace knowledge and remote pilot operation
- Work with multidisciplinary teams including instructional designers and subject matter experts to support training development
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of air traffic control procedures and communication protocols
