Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer proficiency
- Good reading and interpretation skills
- Clear oral communication
- US Citizenship
- Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance
- No travel required
- Availability for day shift
- Must work onsite at Dallas-Fort Worth ATCT
- Must complete classroom and lab certifications
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer proficiency
- Ability to read and interpret diagrams and manuals
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- US Citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance
- Experience working in multidisciplinary teams
- Certification in ATC tower, TRACON, or En Route simulation labs preferred
- Working knowledge of FAAO JO 7110.65 preferred
- Proficiency with MS Office suite
- Familiarity with pilot-controller communications or phraseology
Job Duties
- Operate simulated radar displays and voice communication systems to portray pilot and ATC communications
- Respond accurately to student air traffic controller voice commands using FAA-approved phraseology
- Perform input of pilot actions and simulate responses within automated training systems
- Translate displayed simulation information into proper ATC terminology
- Complete required classroom and lab certifications to operate Remote Pilot Operator positions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including multimedia developers, quality assurance, and instructors
- Maintain clear and effective communication with trainees and training personnel
