Job Requirements
- College degree preferred
- One year supervisory experience preferred including dementia care and staff management
- College degree or supervisory experience may be required by jurisdiction
- Additional jurisdiction-specific requirements may apply
- Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office and Sunrise applications
- Ability to work weekends, evenings, and flexible hours
- Ability to pass drug test, tuberculosis test, background check
- Compliance with COVID-19 and influenza vaccination mandates if applicable

Job Duties
- Plan, organize, develop, and lead reminiscence neighborhood operations
- Champion the resident centered care model
- Act as community champion for reminiscence programming and activities
- Partner with Activities and Volunteer Coordinator for individualized activities
- Design, schedule, and facilitate dementia appropriate reminiscence program
- Collaborate with Resident Care Director to address clinical needs
- Review resident preferences and facilitate family meetings
- Develop Individualized Service Plans and Daily Assignment Sheets
- Support resident assessment and level of care determination
- Oversee family events and services planning
- Exercise discretion in resident needs evaluation
- Partner with dining coordinator to meet resident preferences
- Communicate changes in resident condition to family
- Review clinical alerts and document resident changes
- Establish relationships with Alzheimer’s Association and community groups
- Facilitate educational support for families and community liaison role
- Plan and facilitate monthly family support groups
- Ensure clinical indicators meet benchmarks
- Ensure compliance with laws and Sunrise standards
- Develop action plans for regulatory compliance
- Maintain knowledge of laws, regulations, and policies
- Promote occupational health and safety compliance
- Practice safety procedures including PPE and fire safety
- Assist in product and service presentation
- Manage department budget and financial performance
- Review financial statements and implement plans
- Submit monthly expenses and budget data
- Coordinate staffing economies and cross training
- Manage recruiting, hiring, training, coaching, and performance management
- Ensure team member paperwork compliance
- Participate in Sunrise University training programs
- Provide monthly continuing education
- Ensure regulatory compliance through supervision
- Lead engagement improvement planning
- Complete staffing and scheduling per guidelines
- Review timekeeping and payroll daily
- Conduct performance appraisals
- Hold team accountable and document actions
- Attend regular meetings as directed
- Stay current with professional development
- Maintain required training compliance
- Perform additional assigned duties
