Job Requirements

  • College degree or supervisory/management experience as required by state or provincial law
  • Experience in dementia care and managing care teams
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and specialized software applications
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings
  • Valid driver's license and compliance with driving requirements if applicable
  • Completion and passing of drug and health tests
  • Compliance with vaccination requirements if mandated

Job Qualifications

  • College degree preferred
  • One year supervisory experience preferred including dementia care and team management
  • Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office and Sunrise software
  • Knowledge of state or provincial regulatory requirements
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to conduct small group presentations
  • Experience with performance management and team coaching
  • Commitment to quality resident care and safety standards

Job Duties

  • Plan, organize, develop, and lead reminiscence neighborhood operations in compliance with legal and company standards
  • Champion the resident centered model and reminiscence programming and activities
  • Partner with activities and volunteer coordinators to deliver engaging individualized activities
  • Design and facilitate reminiscence programs incorporating life skills and dementia appropriate activities
  • Review and facilitate resident profiles, family meetings, and Individualized Service Plans
  • Oversee family events and support services
  • Manage staffing, scheduling, team engagement, and performance
  • Ensure quality assurance and regulatory compliance with federal, state, and local laws
  • Implement plans to address compliance deficiencies
  • Collaborate on community safety and occupational health practices
  • Manage department budget and financial performance
  • Recruit, train, coach, and supervise team members
  • Lead continuing education and compliance training
  • Conduct performance appraisals and hold team accountable
  • Participate in regular management and quality improvement meetings
  • Maintain professional knowledge through trainings and conferences
