Job Requirements
- High school education or equivalent experience
- strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- knowledge of proper packaging, loading, and unloading techniques
- excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- positive attitude for interacting with customers, staff, and management
- punctuality, results oriented and focused on problem solving
- physical stamina for sustained periods of lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, walking, and bending
- ability to lift, carry, push or pull up to 75 pounds regularly
- ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing
- forklift certification or commercial driver’s license is a plus

Job Duties
- Pack and prepare customer items to prevent damage during transit
- disassemble furniture, wrap items, and pack in boxes
- use straps to secure large items
- load customer items using dollies and ramps
- strategically arrange items in the truck
- unload items, reassemble furniture, and place items as per customer request
- track inventory by writing item descriptions before loading and verifying upon arrival
- provide excellent customer service by interacting in a friendly and professional manner
- answer customer questions and address move requests
- clean up supplies and garbage at loading and unloading sites
- keep trucks and work sites free from debris
- follow all safety policies and procedures including use of PPE
- use proper lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling techniques
- assist with warehouse and operations tasks when not in the field
- complete other duties as assigned by manager
