Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in food preparation or culinary roles preferred
  • Ability to work weekend shifts of 8 hours on Saturdays and Sundays
  • Must be able to stand for long periods and perform physical kitchen tasks
  • Must demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Must adhere to strict food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Must be at least 18 years old

Job Qualifications

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Eagerness to learn and grow professionally in the food service industry
  • Experience working in a team environment, preferably a culinary setting
  • Knowledge and ability to prep, prepare, and present food in buffet settings
  • Ability to cook eggs and omelets as ordered
  • Familiarity with food sanitation guidelines and kitchen equipment operation

Job Duties

  • Prepare and serve dynamic entrees customized to residents' preferences
  • Provide excellent customer service as the first friendly face residents see on weekend mornings
  • Maintain the highest standards of kitchen cleanliness and safety
  • Prepare and present quality food on buffets including cooking eggs and omelets as ordered
  • Collaborate with Culinary and Dining Services team under the Executive Chef's guidance
  • Live by the company core values of respect, kindness, compassion, honesty, and service excellence
