Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior experience in food preparation or cooking roles preferred
  • Ability to work weekends and flexible weekday evenings
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights
  • Commitment to uphold company core values
  • Food handler’s certification preferred

Job Qualifications

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Eagerness to learn and grow as a professional in the food service industry
  • Experience working in a team environment ideally in a culinary setting
  • Knowledge and ability to prep, prepare and present food on a buffet
  • Ability to cook eggs and omelets as ordered
  • Knowledgeable in food sanitation guidelines
  • Able to operate kitchen equipment as needed

Job Duties

  • Prepare and serve dynamic entrees
  • Present high-quality food personalized to residents' preferences
  • Ensure highest standards of cleanliness and safety within the kitchen
  • Work collaboratively with Culinary and Dining Services team under direction of Executive Chef
  • Greet residents warmly as the first smiling face on weekend mornings
  • Cook eggs and omelets as ordered
  • Adhere to core values of respect, kindness and compassion, honesty, and service excellence
