Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in food preparation or cooking roles preferred
- Ability to work weekends and flexible weekday evenings
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights
- Commitment to uphold company core values
- Food handler’s certification preferred
Job Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- Eagerness to learn and grow as a professional in the food service industry
- Experience working in a team environment ideally in a culinary setting
- Knowledge and ability to prep, prepare and present food on a buffet
- Ability to cook eggs and omelets as ordered
- Knowledgeable in food sanitation guidelines
- Able to operate kitchen equipment as needed
Job Duties
- Prepare and serve dynamic entrees
- Present high-quality food personalized to residents' preferences
- Ensure highest standards of cleanliness and safety within the kitchen
- Work collaboratively with Culinary and Dining Services team under direction of Executive Chef
- Greet residents warmly as the first smiling face on weekend mornings
- Cook eggs and omelets as ordered
- Adhere to core values of respect, kindness and compassion, honesty, and service excellence
