Job Duties

  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of shipments including air, ocean, truck, and rail
  • Create customs entries by reviewing documentation for all clients' shipments
  • Enter shipment information for release, rating, and billing ensuring all mandatory fields are accurate
  • Ensure correct value for duty is reported based on invoice details and terms of sale
  • Establish correct tariff classification by selecting the appropriate keyword/HS code
  • Contact Release Import Analyst or client service team for missing documentation or instructions
  • Verify documentation for release conditions, compliance, and rating compliance such as free trade certificates
  • Research and respond to information requests professionally via phone or email
  • Participate fully with team members in daily Release Operations
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
  • Adhere to established policies and procedures
