Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum two years experience in a Casino/Gaming, sales or marketing environment
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in written form in Chinese, Vietnamese, Korean or Tagalog (may be required)
  • Ability to work evening, weekend and holiday shifts
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-demand environment
  • Willingness to travel to meetings, trade shows, and conferences
  • Physical ability to sit, stand, walk and lift up to 40 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to maintain professional appearance and demeanor
  • May be required to obtain and maintain a gaming license at discretion of San Manuel Tribal Gaming Commission

Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality, Marketing or related field highly preferred
  • Minimum two years experience in a Casino/Gaming, sales or marketing environment required
  • Must possess drive to exceed revenue generation targets
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access necessary
  • May be required to communicate verbally and in written form in Chinese, Vietnamese, Korean or Tagalog
  • Must have outstanding communication skills
  • Must be consistent with upholding a professional image with a polished appearance and demeanor

Job Duties

  • Use a "Segment-of-One" marketing approach to track activity and preferences of each "mid-tier" guest and tailor offers and incentives that appeal directly to their interests
  • Meet or exceed predetermined goals for daily calls and written correspondence to active, inactive and potential new guests
  • Comply with and uphold enterprise expectations including policies, procedures, industry regulations, and department guidelines
  • Actively prospect for new and reactive opportunities and develop "mid-tier" guests to extend and acquire trips
  • Progress players through each tier or to premium level average
  • Handle all aspects of guest journey including hotel accommodation, dining reservations, entertainment, and folio clearance at checkout
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of industry developments, market trends, on-property and competitor promotions and events
  • Monitor guest participation and track feedback to determine effectiveness of events and promotions
  • Attend and host player onsite and offsite events
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support efficient operation of the department
