Job Requirements

- ability to perform physical tasks including patient transfer and ambulation
- capacity for prolonged standing and walking

Job Duties
- Transport patients to and from therapies using proper transfer and ambulation techniques
- prepare patients for treatment including transferring, dressing, undressing, draping, and positioning
- support individual and group therapy sessions under therapist supervision
- maintain and clean departmental equipment
- assist with preparation and management of assistive devices and wheelchairs
- perform clerical duties such as copying materials and handling mail in administrative assistant's absence
- maintain accurate client and non-client documentation
- respond to patient requests and call bells promptly
- participate in quality improvement initiatives
- communicate frequently with therapists regarding patient status changes
- adhere to safety and infection control policies
- assist with outpatient clinic duties as needed
- exemplify professionalism and uphold organizational mission values
