Job Requirements
- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
- 2 or more years of bartender or related hospitality experience
- Must possess current New Mexico alcohol server certification
- Must have New Mexico Food Handler Certification
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- US work authorization unless currently holding a managerial position at a Four Seasons location
Job Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience as a high-end bartender or in restaurant service or a related field
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage, cocktails, beer, and wine
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Current New Mexico alcohol server certification
- New Mexico Food Handler Certification
- Genuine, caring, and compassionate with a passion for hospitality
- Ability to engage authentically with guests and colleagues
Job Duties
- Provide an enjoyable, expertly served experience conforming to Four Seasons standards of excellence for quality
- Be knowledgeable about all drink menu options including wine and cocktail selections and deliver detailed ingredient information with engaging descriptions
- Continuously learn to expand knowledge of liquors, wines, beers, ports, armagnacs, eau de vies, cognacs, and specialty drinks
- Assist with additional side work, greet and seat guests in the absence of the hostess, take reservations, and operate the Micros Operating System
- Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests
- Properly and accurately close guest checks
- process cash and credit card payments
- properly settle voided checks or complimentary items
