Job Requirements
- Licensed registered nurse, State of Florida
- BLS certification by AHA
- ACLS certification within 6 months of employment or transfer
- Basic knowledge of EKG
- Successful completion of GSMC medication test
- Successful completion of GSMC EKG test
- 0 to less than 6 months of nursing experience
- Ability to work full time during daytime hours
Job Qualifications
- Licensed registered nurse, State of Florida
- BLS by AHA
- ACLS within 6 months of employment/transfer
- Basic EKG knowledge
- Successful completion of GSMC medication test
- Successful completion of GSMC EKG test
- Ability to provide compassionate and high-quality nursing care
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
Job Duties
- Assess physical, psychosocial, educational, and growth and development needs of the patient
- Develop a written plan of care using assessment data and provide teaching and guidance to patient and/or family as well as staff members
- Implement nursing plan of care on assigned patients and communicate and document patient activities, needs and assessments
- Evaluate the patient's response to interventions/teaching
- Demonstrate leadership skills
- Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned
- Deliver direct and indirect nursing care to patients under supervision
