Job Requirements

  • Registered Nurse (RN) license active in the state of practice

Job Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse (RN) with active state license
  • Ability to perform essential job functions including adequate visual acuity and effective communication
  • Ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and sounds
  • Knowledge of nursing care plans, patient evaluation, and safety protocols
  • Experience in patient education and team coordination
  • Preferred 1-3 years of clinical environment experience

Job Duties

  • Provides patient care by reviewing physician prescriptions
  • Communicates nursing care plan and information to healthcare team
  • Coordinates with other healthcare providers
  • Provides physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, families, and friends
  • Confers with physicians
  • Develops nursing care plans by obtaining medical histories and examining patients
  • Documents patient physical condition, psychological status, and social factors
  • Develops nursing diagnosis and care objectives
  • Establishes nursing interventions, schedules, and timetables
  • Teaches healthcare requirements and patient care goals
  • Instructs patients and families on condition, medications, and self-care
  • Answers questions and provides resources
  • Evaluates patient care by measuring outcomes and revising care plans
  • Maintains safe patient care environment by adhering to infection control and medication procedures
  • Documents patient care services in records
  • Maintains patient care equipment and supplies
  • Keeps supplies stocked and expedites orders
  • Maintains nursing competencies outlined by leadership
