Job Requirements
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing
- Possession of current Texas State License for Registered Nurse or eligibility for state board certification
- Must have active healthcare provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification on hire
- AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification to be completed within 60 days of hire
- AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 60 days of hire for PACU licensed staff
- None minimum experience
- Compliance with hospital policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing
- Possession of current Texas State License for Registered Nurse or eligibility for state board certification
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Completion of peri-anesthesia or critical care internship/training course preferred
- Certified or board eligible in Surgery - CNOR, Post Anesthesia - CPAN, or GI Lab - SGNA preferred
Job Duties
- Provide professional nursing care for patients of all ages from newborn to geriatric
- Follow established nursing standards and hospital practices
- Support the mission, policies, and procedures of the Baptist Health System
- Complete required competencies during the introductory period
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver comprehensive patient care
- Maintain patient records and document nursing interventions accurately
- Participate in ongoing education and training programs
