Job Requirements
- At least two years of Level 3 or 4 NICU experience
- valid RN license
- basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and electronic medical documentation
- knowledge of nursing laws, rules, standards, and guidelines
- proficiency in medical terminology and patient care procedures
- exceptional communication and problem-solving skills
- ability to work a full-time night shift
Job Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- registered nurse (RN) license
- specialized field of study in nursing
- BLS certification obtained or acquired within 30 days of employment
Job Duties
- Conduct detailed clinical assessments and prioritize patient and family needs
- create, implement, and evaluate care plans
- adjust plans to reach desired outcomes
- build relationships and manage discomfort in therapeutic connections with patients and families
- educate patients, families, nurses, and community members
- assess and document learning needs regularly
- collaborate with colleagues and community to create care plans
- delegate tasks carefully and follow up promptly
- employ various problem-solving strategies with patients, families, and staff
- recognize limitations and prioritize safety, effectiveness, and efficiency in patient care planning and delivery
- achieve goals through teamwork and contribute to peers' development
