Job Requirements

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
  • Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) from accredited school of nursing required
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or three-year diploma from accredited program may be substituted
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Successful completion of pre-employment color blind test, accommodation available
  • Willingness to float to various facilities during and after training
  • Commitment to clinical goal setting and quality improvement initiatives

Job Qualifications

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
  • Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) from accredited school required
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or three-year nursing diploma may be substituted
  • ICU, CCU, ER, or medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required
  • Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) or Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN) credentials are advantageous
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Deliver care to patients with end-stage renal disease or chronic kidney disease in a hospital setting
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized patient treatment plans
  • Perform and oversee dialysis therapies including hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, CRRT, and apheresis
  • Monitor patient vital signs and clinical status, adjusting treatment as needed
  • Coordinate with Patient Care Technicians to ensure proper machine setup and patient observations
  • Provide patient and family education on dialysis treatments and care protocols
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical goal setting to enhance patient outcomes
