Job Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
- Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) from accredited school of nursing required
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or three-year diploma from accredited program may be substituted
- Flexibility to work various shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Successful completion of pre-employment color blind test, accommodation available
- Willingness to float to various facilities during and after training
- Commitment to clinical goal setting and quality improvement initiatives
Job Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
- Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) from accredited school required
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or three-year nursing diploma may be substituted
- ICU, CCU, ER, or medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required
- Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) or Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN) credentials are advantageous
- Ability to work flexible schedules including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Deliver care to patients with end-stage renal disease or chronic kidney disease in a hospital setting
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized patient treatment plans
- Perform and oversee dialysis therapies including hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, CRRT, and apheresis
- Monitor patient vital signs and clinical status, adjusting treatment as needed
- Coordinate with Patient Care Technicians to ensure proper machine setup and patient observations
- Provide patient and family education on dialysis treatments and care protocols
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical goal setting to enhance patient outcomes
