Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field
- minimum five years progressive experience or equivalent education and experience
- practical selling experience in food and beverage industry
- proven success in wine or adult beverage sales with key account management
- recent on-premise channel sales experience including restaurants, bars, and private clubs
- knowledge of ultra-premium, high-end, or biodynamic wines desirable
- thorough understanding of wine principles, winegrowing, winemaking processes, and food pairing
- strong verbal and written communication skills
- excellent interpersonal skills with integrity
- proficiency in Microsoft Office products
- valid Driver's License, vehicle, and insurance
- willingness to travel frequently including overnight and weekend work
- physical ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs
- ability to sit, walk, stand, climb, crawl, squat, kneel, bend, and perform keyboarding for extended periods
Job Qualifications

- knowledge of ultra-premium, high-end, or fine wines, including import, domestic, or biodynamic wines
- strong knowledge of wine principles, winegrowing, winemaking, and food and wine pairing
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- high interpersonal skills and integrity
- proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- valid Driver's License and reliable vehicle
- ability to travel 10-15% including overnight and weekend work
Job Duties
- Develop annual business plan for all distributors within assigned territory
- establish volume and distribution plans for key brands
- secure pricing, marketing, and manpower tools to achieve goals
- ensure distributor alignment and commitment
- review and evaluate distributor depletions, shipments, and inventories
- manage distributor pricing across all trade channels including margin analysis and deal structures
- ensure face-time planning, programming, execution, and follow-up in key accounts
- maintain regular account calls and report on depletions and trends
- develop relationships with key account decision makers
- host fine wine events such as dinners, happy hours, and tastings
- execute retail programming ensuring proper pricing and in-store presence
- utilize or develop local sales programming
- communicate and enforce market-specific brand standards
- keep updated on industry trends and participate in training
- foster productive workplace and contribute to team objectives
- attend and participate in corporate meetings and activities
