Job Requirements

  • authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship
  • minimum 8 years of experience in a related field or education equivalent
  • proficiency in technical sales related to hospitality or telecommunications
  • ability to travel nationwide independently monthly
  • strong written and verbal communication skills
  • experience using CRM and quoting tools
  • ability to meet sales quotas and performance indicators

Job Qualifications

  • 8 years of experience in a related field or a BS/BA degree in a related discipline with 4 years of experience or MS/MA degree in a related discipline with 2 years of experience or Ph.D. in a related discipline
  • network sales/services background especially with 802.1x LAN/Wi-Fi
  • experience in data products, Wi-Fi networks, and IOT
  • consultative and cost-benefit analysis sales experience
  • strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • negotiation and analytical skills
  • strong people and relationship management abilities
  • strong presentation and demonstration skills
  • ability to travel nationwide monthly
  • expertise in telecommunications or hospitality industry sales
  • ability to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas
  • proficiency with quoting tools, CRM, and other sales databases

Job Duties

  • hunt and open new leads and accounts within the convention vertical
  • farm within existing accounts for new opportunities
  • perform technical network solution selling including LAN and Wi-Fi services
  • prepare and respond promptly with detailed proposals
  • close deals with signed legal agreements
  • collaborate with internal Cox Hospitality Network teams to align product offerings
  • travel nationwide to client locations and tradeshows as required
