Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 4 years experience in sales or related field
- Ability to build and maintain client relationships
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in CRM and sales tools
- Willingness to travel 25% of the time
- Clean driving record
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to meet sales quotas and performance indicators
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 4 years' experience in a related field
- 5+ years' experience in client relations, sales, and/or account management
- Expertise in telecommunications or hospitality industry sales
- Ability to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas
- Proficient in using quoting tools, Salesforce CRM, and supporting databases
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working within a team environment
- Preferred network sales/services background (802.1x LAN/Wi-Fi)
- Experience with data products, Wi-Fi networks, in-room entertainment systems, IoT
- Consultative and cost-benefit analysis sales experience
- Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Excellent presentation and demonstration skills
- Proficiency in Windows applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to travel nationwide independently
Job Duties
- Open new leads and accounts within the hospitality vertical
- Farm within hospitality management company accounts for new opportunities
- Sell network solutions and services primarily to hotel IT leaders, owners, and general managers
- Prepare proposals and negotiate contracts
- Close sales and obtain signed legal agreements
- Collaborate with the Cox Hospitality Network team to align products to customer needs
- Travel to client locations and trade shows as required
