Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, hospitality management, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant sales experience in the hospitality industry
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets

Job Qualifications

- Master's degree is a plus
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant sales experience in the hospitality industry, with a focus on extended stay accommodations
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth in a multi-unit environment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to collaborate, inspire and motivate a team to deliver exceptional results
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively build and maintain relationships with key clients and industry partners
- Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market trends and develop innovative sales strategies to stay ahead of the competition
- Proficiency in sales management software, customer relationship management (CRM) systems, and Microsoft Office applications
- Willingness to travel 50% within the region and occasionally nationally for business meetings and industry events
- A demonstrated passion for the hospitality industry and a customer-centric mindset to deliver outstanding service
- The ability to engage with key partners successfully and effectively like ownership groups, associates, clients, colleagues, and the brand representatives
Job Duties
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales plans to achieve revenue targets for the assigned portfolio of extended stay hotels
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the portfolio team to drive performance and ensure the achievement of individual and team goals
- Identify and cultivate relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, relocation companies, and other potential sources of extended stay business
- Manage key accounts and negotiate corporate rates and contracts to drive long-term business partnerships
- Conduct regular market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats, and adjust sales strategies accordingly
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and sales collateral to support the sales effort
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, including revenue, occupancy, and average daily rate (ADR), and take corrective actions as necessary
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote the extended stay hotels and build brand awareness
- Work closely with the operations team to ensure seamless guest experiences and address any customer satisfaction concerns promptly
- Prepare regular sales forecasts, reports, and presentations for senior management to communicate progress towards sales goals and identify areas for improvement
- Foster a positive, sales-focused team attitude and maintain clear, efficient communication among all team members for the best overall performance of the hotels
- Provide sales training and support to hotel sales leaders, GM, and DM teams to develop, coach and assist in the sales strategy, efforts, tools, and tactics
- Other duties as assigned
