Job Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in B2B and/or B2G sales management preferably in aviation or software-related fields
- Demonstrated sustained superior sales performance and revenue growth history
- Experience working with U.S. and global aerospace and defense technology
- Proven ability to develop ongoing customer relationships
- Passion for selling software and technology products
- Strong persuasive and influencing skills
- Prior aviation, flight planning, or U.S. military experience is a major plus
- Experience with Salesforce CRM
- Excellent executive presentation, written communication, and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of marketing and sales promotion techniques
- Experience selling to U.S. Government, Department of War, third-party integrators, and international military and government entities
- Willingness to work flexible schedule with moderate domestic and international travel
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, aerospace or related field
- MBA preferred
- Security clearance preferred but not required
- Proven leadership skills managing sales teams
- Strong analytical and strategic planning abilities
- Experience using MEDDPICC sales methodology
- Proficient in Tableau and Salesforce reporting tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for customer and executive engagement
- Ability to mentor and develop team members
- Understanding of military aviation market and government procurement processes
Job Duties
- Take care of your people
- Oversee territory sales campaigns from conception to close
- Closely coordinate with a cross-functional team providing market intelligence, sales enablement, revenue operations, channel sales, and Go-to-Market expertise
- Set and maintain a high degree of integrity and performance
- Lead by example and enforce accountability
- Drive sales pipeline generation and accurately forecast opportunities in Salesforce
- Leverage MEDDPICC and Close Plans to score and evaluate sales opportunities
- Utilize Tableau reports for analyses, trend recognition, and performance reporting
- Submit weekly summaries, monthly regional updates, and quarterly business reviews to executives
- Attend monthly meetings with product and service portfolio leaders
- Plan and execute annual training sessions at company-wide sales kickoff events
- Research and analyze global military aviation trends and competitors
- Establish and maintain broad network of contacts
- Provide professional guidance and mentorship
- Perform managerial administrative duties including onboarding, expense approvals, and compliance
- Approve proposals containing Jeppesen ForeFlight solutions
