Job Requirements

- strong leadership skills with the ability to collaborate, inspire and motivate a team to deliver exceptional results
- excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively build and maintain relationships with key clients and industry partners
- strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market trends and develop innovative sales strategies to stay ahead of the competition
- proficiency in sales management software, customer relationship management (CRM) systems, and Microsoft Office applications
- willingness to travel 50% within the region and occasionally nationally for business meetings and industry events

Job Duties
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales plans to achieve revenue targets for the assigned portfolio of extended stay hotels
- lead, mentor, and motivate the portfolio team to drive performance and ensure the achievement of individual and team goals
- identify and cultivate relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, relocation companies, and other potential sources of extended stay business
- manage key accounts and negotiate corporate rates and contracts to drive long-term business partnerships
- conduct regular market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats, and adjust sales strategies accordingly
- collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and sales collateral to support the sales effort
- monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, including revenue, occupancy, and average daily rate (ADR), and take corrective actions as necessary
- represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote the extended stay hotels and build brand awareness
- work closely with the operations team to ensure seamless guest experiences and address any customer satisfaction concerns promptly
- prepare regular sales forecasts, reports, and presentations for senior management to communicate progress towards sales goals and identify areas for improvement
- foster a positive, sales-focused team attitude and maintain clear, efficient communication among all team members for the best overall performance of the hotels
- provide sales training and support to hotel sales leaders, GM, and DM teams to develop, coach and assist in the sales strategy, efforts, tools, and tactics
- other duties as assigned
