Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- at least 3 years experience in education or emergency response
- at least 2 years experience in school leadership operations
- at least 1 year of successful management experience
- certifications in ICS, NIMS, CRASE, CPR, First Aid, STB, BTA
- ability to travel within the region as necessary
- ability to manage emergency situations and coordinate large groups safely
- ability to conduct emergency response station setup with urgency
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- at least 3 years of experience in education or emergency response
- at least 2 years of experience in school leadership operations
- at least 1 year of successful management experience
- certifications in ICS, NIMS, CRASE, CPR, First Aid, STB, BTA
- knowledge of school safety program initiatives and state compliance requirements
- proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
- strong prioritization, attention to detail, critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
- effective communication skills
- ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining composure
- ability to build strong relationships and influence others
- ability to provide, receive, and implement feedback
Job Duties
- Collaborate with regional leadership and emergency responders during campus emergencies
- ensure accurate documentation and reporting of safety incidents
- act as liaison between campuses and local law enforcement and emergency agencies
- assist activation of regional Emergency Response Team
- manage emergency communication mechanisms for the region
- coordinate and lead training sessions for regional and campus emergency response teams
- conduct routine assessments of campus safety protocols and emergency equipment
- coordinate and evaluate campus emergency drills ensuring compliance
- oversee biannual safety audits for all campuses
- participate in Campus Crisis Team meetings to enhance campus safety planning
- partner with facilities team to ensure door sweep audit compliance
- analyze regional safety data to recommend improvements
