Job Requirements
- Two years or equivalent experience in airline or cargo safety or security operations
- Experience using relevant technology and equipment such as CCTV
- Experience in reporting and emergency response planning
- Excellent knowledge of safety and security protocols and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals and groups of diverse backgrounds
- Working knowledge of occupational health and safety and security regulations including TSA, CBP, OSHA, FAA regulations
- United States Citizen
- High school diploma
- Ability to remain stationary 50 percent of the time
- Ability to operate office equipment and computers
- Ability to lift and carry items up to 10 pounds
- Ability to travel and respond to incidents as required
- Ability to attend and lead meetings
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance
- Ability to communicate clearly via phone
- Ability to walk short distances and reach above or below shoulder level

- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse identities, cultures, backgrounds, and ideologies
- Working knowledge of occupational health and safety and security regulations focused on aviation sector including TSA, CBP, OSHA, and FAA
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Ability to respond to critical safety or security issues promptly
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Bi-lingual preferred
- Working knowledge of MS Office
- Committed and reliable
- United States Citizen
- High school diploma or higher
- Further education in airline operations safety/security or related field is an asset
Job Duties
- Coordinate with station management teams regarding emerging safety and security concerns
- Document and submit reports for region of responsibility to Directors of Safety and Security
- Meet customer, airline, airport representatives when directed for safety or security related issues
- Travel to respond to accidents or incidents as directed by Regional Safety or Security Directors
- Assist and coach stations to complete required daily and weekly inspections and audits
- Verify stations complete all reports as required by government agencies or airport authorities
- Attend and facilitate safety and security meetings with other managers and operations
- Create incident reports on regional safety and security status
- Compile data to assist in proposals for improvements to processes and procedures
- Perform independent station audits focusing on safety, security, and quality policies and procedures
- Ensure site-specific security and safety plans are up to date and compliant
- Assist on special projects and perform other duties as required
