Job Requirements
- Bachelors degree in safety management or similar field
- At least 6 years professional field experience in safety
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be adaptable and self-motivated
- Must have exceptional organizational skills and ability to prioritize duties
- Must be able to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and work on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
- Must be able to travel 50%-75% of the time, sometimes outside the assigned region
- Must live within at least a 45 minute commute to an airport who offers domestic flights

- Past successful experience in the construction industry is preferred
Job Duties
- Implement, monitor, and enforce company safety policies, procedures, and programs across all locations in the region
- Conduct audits, inspections, and risk assessments at branch locations and job sites
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA, and other applicable federal, state, and local safety regulations
- Compile data within assigned locations to identify unhealthy trends that can be mitigated by early intervention
- Lead investigations of workplace accidents, near-misses, property damage, and vehicle incidents
- Identify root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence
- Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, training records, and safety inspections
- Partner with operations to integrate safety into daily work activities and business decisions
- Support regional leadership with safety communications, safety stand-downs, and weekly safety meetings
- Apply working knowledge and understanding of OSHA 29 CFR 1910 (General Industry Standards) to evaluate workplace conditions, equipment use, and employee practices
- Promote a strong safety culture by engaging employees at all levels and reinforcing safe work practices
