Job Requirements
- BA/BS in occupational safety or similar curriculum
- 10 years of construction safety management experience or demonstrated equivalency
- Minimum 2 years of leadership experience
- Experience in commercial construction safety management
- Valid driver's license
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in occupational safety or related field
- At least 10 years of construction safety management experience
- Leadership experience of minimum 2 years
- Experience in commercial construction safety management
- Proficiency in OSHA standards, EPA regulations, and Department of Transportation rules
- Recordkeeping and documentation skills
- Risk assessment and mitigation experience
- Safety program development capabilities
- Incident investigation expertise
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) preferred
- Experience in safety team leadership
Job Duties
- Assist the ES&H Director in the formulation and administration of environmental safety and health policies and programs
- Assist in the supervision of all ES&H activities and selection of project personnel
- Plan and conduct training for project personnel on safety policies and procedures
- Oversee regulatory compliance, inspections, and incident investigations
- Represent the company on technical and professional committees related to safety and regulatory standards
- Ensure proper documentation and recordkeeping for incidents, audits, and training
- Lead efforts in risk assessment, safety program development, continuous improvement, and incident investigations
