Job Requirements
- Proven experience as a successful pastry chef
- 3+ years of experience in a pastry kitchen handling preparation and cooking
- Strong attention to detail
- Creative with a problem-solving approach
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Extensive knowledge of food preparation, sanitation principles, baking techniques and nutrition
- Must be available to work days, nights, weekends and holidays

Job Duties
- Crafting a dessert menu fitting with the restaurant concept and locale while partnering with the Executive Chef
- Preparing detailed recipe cards to ensure consistency in dessert preparation
- Motivating, teaching, and fostering a positive culture among pastry cooks
- Being receptive to feedback and communicating freely with other chefs to ensure cohesive kitchen operations
- Maintaining a clean and sanitary workstation adhering to all DHEC regulations
- Reporting product shortages, equipment problems, or food quality issues to the Executive Chef promptly
- Participating in scheduled employee meetings and offering suggestions for improvement
- Ensuring the guest experience remains the number one priority in all activities
