Job Requirements
- Proven experience as a successful pastry chef
- 3+ years of experience in a pastry kitchen handling preparation and cooking
- Strong attention to detail
- Creative with a problem-solving approach
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Extensive knowledge of food preparation, sanitation principles, baking techniques and nutrition
- Must be available to work days, nights, weekends and holidays

Job Duties
- Craft dessert menus fitting with the concept and locale while partnering with Executive Chef on menu alignment
- Prepare detailed recipe cards to ensure consistency among pastry cooks
- Motivate, teach and maintain a positive culture among pastry team members
- Communicate openly with other chefs to incorporate feedback and coordinate culinary efforts
- Maintain a clean and sanitary workspace adhering to all DHEC regulations
- Report product shortages, equipment problems or food quality issues promptly to Executive Chef
- Participate in scheduled employee meetings offering suggestions for improvement
- Ensure guest experience is the number one priority in all pastry operations
